Our surf camp in Vieux-Boucau is for all the people who wish for a good mix of surfing, relaxing and action. Ideal for those of you who already have good confidence in the water, experience “out back” surfing green waves and can perform manoeuvres, like bottom and top turns.

The focus of our improver courses is on learning how to steer your surfboard with the right technique in both directions and on how to create speed. The right choice for those of you who have done several surf lessons or courses and have good confidence in the white water and an understanding of the basics: paddling, standing up on a surfboard and catching a wave. The best waves in Europe during summer Our Nomad Surf Camp Algarve for Young Adults is exclusively for a person ranging in age from their late teens or early. You will be learning the technique of paddling, standing up on a surfboard in white water and how to get the timing right to catch a wave. Perfect for those of you who have never surfed before or have only done a few surf lessons/ a surf course, but have not surfed in a while and would benefit from starting with the basics. We provide all surf equipment free of charge for the duration of your surf lesson. With the kids being out of school for summer vacation, July is a popular time for family vacations.The other reason July is popular is for the July 4th holiday. All surf courses include 5 practical surf lessons and one surf theory session in the surf camp, each 90 minutes long. Protected from the bigger swell by the headland, it’s always possible to surf here, even when there is big swell hitting the coast, as the beach stretches 4kms further west, with many spots to surf - a great place to get away from crowds. In our summer surf camps in Moliets-Plage in Southwest France and in the North of Spain in Oyambre, we offer three surf course levels you can choose from for your surf holiday week. Best Wave: Baleal is famous for its consistency and is ideal for intermediate surfers. To beat the heat, head to Universal Studios’s Volcano Bay, Seaworld’s Aquatica Adventure, or Disney World’s Typhoon.
